Entries Now Full for 2018

Are you ready for a challenge this summer? Taking in the stunning scenery of the Spirit of Ringinglow.

This 14+km course of mixed terrain is set to blow your mind with the famous crags of Stanage Edge and amazing views of the Peak District.

We will start you off on your journey on Fulwood Lane next to the locally famous Alpaca Farm. From there you will turn on to Houndkirk Road, impressively built by the Romans, before venturing off up the first small incline at the side of Lady Cannings Plantation.

There onwards you will follow the trail around the edge of the peak district, before crossing Burbage Bridge on Ringinglow road. At this point the you will encounter the water station to refill your bottle.

After the water station you will rise and climb on to the crags of Stanage Edge and on to another Roman road, marked by Stanage Pole. At this point the route drops down for a kilometer with stunning views of the three Redmires dams.

Once you are past the water, 'winners zone hill' will come in to sight. This will challenge the legs and the heart of any competitor. Once the trail levels off, you will join the 'road to home' which will guide you to the long awaited finish line where you will be cheered home and awarded your hard earned finishes prize.
